A Builder-Side Perspective, Brought In-House

Before joining Builder Designs, Laura spent nearly 20 years at New Tradition Homes, one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest private homebuilders. As Marketing Director, she played a key role in shaping the company’s brand, customer experience, and digital evolution.

During her time there, Laura led the launch of a highly successful online sales program and CRM system, modernized digital marketing processes, and helped improve buyer communication and lead management across teams. She also worked closely with New Tradition’s Building Science Team and In-House Design Team, bringing together technical knowledge, design sensibility, and operational insight.

Laura understands what it’s like to sit on the builder’s side of the table, balancing marketing goals with construction timelines, sales realities, and customer expectations. That empathy and insight will directly inform how we build strategies for our partners.

Industry Leadership That Extends Beyond BD

Laura’s impact in the industry goes well beyond her day-to-day roles. She currently serves on the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC) Board of Trustees, contributing to conversations shaping the future of home sales and marketing nationwide.

Her work has also been recognized industry-wide, including being named a Pro Builder Magazine “40 Under 40” honoree and a recipient of the PWB Pink Hard Hat Award. Plus, with a lifelong connection to homebuilding as the daughter of a builder, her passion for the industry runs deep.
