How do our audits work?

Your BIQ Score is an average score based on your evaluations in each section of our audit process, ranging anywhere from 1 to 10. Social Media: Our Social Media Specialists take an in-depth look at a builder’s social media presence and strategy throughout the social media portion of our audit. We evaluate the platforms you post on, how consistently you post, your photography, bio, branding, captions, hashtag strategy, linking and more to see how well you’re performing on socials and what you could do to improve. Our audit can provide you with ways to not only boost your social media presence, but to reach a larger audience and secure new leads.


Website: During the website portion of our audit, our Analytics Specialist dissects the performance and structure of a builder’s website. Since this is the main place you want to drive traffic to, we look at a number of things to see ways you could improve SEO and UX—including structured data, area pages, community pages, available home pages, photo galleries, an ‘about us’ page and more to evaluate your overall website functionality.


Creative: The creative portion of our audit is performed with overall branding in mind, starting with the logo. Our creative team will evaluate the initial impression of the logo, seeing if it lends itself to that of a homebuilder and conveys the right message. We take a look at the font treatments on the website and their effectiveness, as well as photo quality and resolution. We offer up suggestions for all components of creativity, including a more readable font if necessary, a new color palette or a stronger visual identity that stands out among competitors.
